Slowin down
Hey guys, I've been workin for a few days now on tryin to rock some real slow stuff, I'm talkin like bringin it up from 1-2 mph and riding that. Any pointers, or ideas on how to make myself grasp the concept? I usually don't have a hard time learning, but this is foolin me I guess. I can't bring it up consistently every time. Do you all set your idles high or just know where to let it out each time? I don't know if this is of any value, but I am -1/+2 on my gears too. I'd appreciate any pointers from you guys that have already been here done this. I also am using one foot on the left pass. peg, seems to help at least in faster wheelies. Lemme know what you all think.
Thx![Cheers](https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/images/smilies/cheers.gif)

ya, like dan the man says, you bring it past balance point and let hte brake/engine brake slow it down.
high idle helps because you don't have to hold your hand in one position, if you have it at 5000 or so then it stays there and you can use the brake only to balance it, versise having to use the brake and throttle. it makes it easier
i use 4500 on my 929. if that helps any. sorry for the drunken post, i'm bored.

Thx Dan, Jeff, that's exactly what I was looking for. It's was gettin tricky tryin to control the brake, and time the clutch all at the right time. So do you pull in the clutch at all or just use the brake and let the motor stay at high idle? Thx all ![Cheers](https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/images/smilies/cheers.gif)

you gotta pull the clutch in for it to be a coaster.
get really good at brake control on 12's first before you do that cause it's weird when you don't have power. you have to rock it way far back and be reall good on the brake.
