i would say you would have to have the knack for it.... not ANYONE can just hop on a bike and get great in a summer.. CBO, my brutha, you forget style man... style is a huge part of how people look at you as a rider... no style = no dice!! lots of people can do lots of trix, but only a few can do ALL THE TRIX AND MAKE EM LOOK EASY! (while lookin good!) naw mean?!!

Here is the reality of this sport you can hate me for saying this but all the big dogs and big names in this sport will soon be caught up to. This sport is tuff but at the same time it's not as difficult as we all think it is so basically there are going to be a ton of good riders all bout the same skill and talent and its going to be hard to say who the best anymore. Just take a look around at all the riders and all the guys that have gotten good in one summer.

This is the only sport where u can get good in one summer. U can't do that with football u cant do that with baseball and compete with the pros in one summer.

I totally disagree there.. I've watched people not be able to wheelie and in MONTHS be awesome riders. CBo definetley got good really fast. As did many other riders.

My view on CBO and what he said
CBO and I have had our times and what not, but I agree and dissagree with what he said and can use him as an example.
No, not EVERYONE is going to jump on a bike as a newbie and be pulling off 900 ft coasters in one year, but it is not to say that it can not be done.
The people that are in it to get it. Not get money or what not, even though that is nice, but people that try fall, try fall, try fall, try fall, get hurt, then get up AGAIN and try until they get that trick they are going after are going to be able to. Those people are the ones that are going to take this sport to the next level and are doing it now. That last paragraph discribes CBO.
Really, if you saw JD2 you saw the DME section and thought hell, that was a lot of crashes, it was, but when you see their next section in Black Sheep Squadron you will be like, OH, JD2 is what it took to learn how to do Black Sheep.
However, he has a point. Look at MX. It is fun to watch the jumps, like for about 3-4 riders, then it is pretty much all the same thing. Style does play into it, but everyone has style no matter how much they say they don't. Hell, I suck, and I still have my own style.
I'm not saying the sport is not going to keep growing, but it is definitely going to plateau, trickwise, at some point.
Just my ,but I still say Europe has the capital.

Not that its because I'm from Michigan... but... look at the XSBA rankings.... 1096, DV8, ScooterTrash... all and we only have 1/2 the riding season. Florida deffinately has the most shows, groups, etc. though.

Not slamming on any region or being unpatriotic, but they are like at least 2 years ahead of us in some aspects.
