Talk about a sour end to a looooong, tiring weekend. After all of the hassels that we all went because of all the confusion at the event, we finally put everything behind us and had a good time at dinner right before we hit the road. Little did we know that all the fun was about to change. I was driving when all this happened, and all I can say is that I'm glad our vehicle was bigger and heavier than the other car or else there could have been some serious injuries. The accident was straight out of a NASCAR race. Cars spinning out of control in front of us with no where to go to avoid it.

First off, I've got to thank Jimmy for being understanding about the whole situation. It's got to be a sick feeling to get a call that your new suv is wrecked 10 hours from home. He was more concerned with our safety and I applaud his maturity regarding this whole situation.

Secondly, everyone involved with Geared Up demonstrated how much of a family this sport has created. People outside of our industry that I told the story of the accident to were very impressed with how the different teams look out for each other. Like Chris said, if the roles were reversed, we would have done the same for them, or anyone else for that matter. Thanks again guys.

GautamCity....the bikes and the trailer held up fine. Just a few more scratches.

I am sorry to hear all this happened...but the more important fact is that everybody is ok. It is good to know that there are peeps out there willing to help out fellow stunters.
I guess I am glad I did not waste my time going to TX....better off staying local, seems that the shows are a little better....I guess the only payoff was that a few people left with some good payouts....well Jimmy I am sure it will all come together soon....best of luck
