reckless operation

i got into an wreck doing about 35. in the cops report he states that the estimted speed was 85+ mph i got cited for reckless operation,i guess i am looking for advice on how to beat this i need it droped to a failure to control or any advice anybody can give would be good.

MEACHAM has a good point...if the cop was not there, that is all he is doing, is estimating...and that wont hold up in the court system. Get a lawyer bro!

Without a radar reading he has nothing on you. He can't prove anything. Also, if you had had a collision at 85 mph with another car (which I'm assuming is what happened) you wouldn't be typing this thread.

yes, just go to court and make him prove your speed..

although if there were skid marks, and he took pictures/measurements he MAY be able to prove your speed even if he was not there to witness the accident..
