scraped tonight first time, f'ed up my bike

so i got my 12 bar from fi yesterday and went out riding tonight, i was feelin pretty good with my wheelies, slowin them down from 35 mph to 10 mph so i decided to scrape, i hit the bar down flat, it skipped off the ground then landed on the right side and pitched the bike right so i bailed.. i was stoked as hell i scraped for the first time but as i hit the ground i saw my bike flip once in the air and then once again on the ground. i picked it up and rode home but when i got home i noticed that the swing arm is decently bent . there's lots of other damage too including the headlight mount busted and lots of other goodies but im out of wheels now till i get the damn swing arm taken care of, does anyone know if they can be straightened? or where can i get another one cheapest? damn i wanna ride again but i guess this is the price i pay for learnin

gotta learn without the bar .... BE A MAN !!! those metal bars aren't forgiving at all man! scrap tail for a while to practice exactly where to scrap, and when you get the feel down, THEN hollar at a bar for tricks and **** ..... and also -------> RACING905 cage wont let that **** happen to your bike

I talked to racing 905 last night .... AGAIN. those guys are awsome. **** is made to order. what ever you want they will do. If you break your cage cause you crashed it, they will straight up send you a new one. If you put it on your bike and just dont like what it looks like, they will make you something else ... good quality **** too, and it's got all the research behind it ....

i already have a 905 cage, had it for a couple months, it saved my bike like you wouldn't believe except it's all bent up now. i also bent my 12 bar which is 2 days old but i think it's fixable

Man dont let it get you down man !! Like someone else said its the price you pay. Find a way to get that shiat fixed and get back out there.
BTW I do have a mint spare GSXR1000 subframe that should fit but I aint letting it go for $50...
I'd let it go for $150 US plus shipping.
PM me for detailz.
Good luck on the repair.
Cheers

staying on the gas some when you scrape (or an idle) will help keep it firm to the ground if your bar's not short enough....

okay, mister 12 king. $h1t, not only did you have to add your 2 cent to this thread, you added another $1.50, "if you had a 905 cage, bla bla bla". "rock it back and forth"

don't worry duffman, you'll get it down soon.
