Clutch or no clutch

I was just chatting aound with two different folks and got 2 diff. opinions. Actually 3 but bike shops have always told me that it always damages the bike and they are not made for stunts. Anyway, one guy says just do a roll on by reving it up then jerking it upwards and it won't hurt the bike. The other guy says clutch it and it won't do the damage.

Also, I was trying to clutch it, let the clutch start to slip rev it and let out the clutch and it does nothing but drop rmp and just give me a little jolt forward. What's up with that? Is my clutch fu****d or do I have to rev higher and just pop the clutch out and not let it out as easy.

What do ya think.....

It's kinda hard to explain, u gotta just kinda flick the clutch and give it a good rev (like 8 grand)

on my 600.. clutching it is about the only way i can get it up.. unless i just rev the guts out of it up to like 10 grand and goose it up to 13. then it will stand up with out a clutch.. but reving the guts out of it isn't any better for it than clutching it.. though it reds at 15 grand. And there's no way in hell i can do that in second. just first

more revs and it sounds odd but slip the clutch more...sounds like yer prolly not giving enough revs or yer poping the clutch or maybe both
it should all be one smooth motion

Stay away from trying to look at the guages, just start small and get the feel for the engine noise and how much it catches. It should never be a loud clunk when it catches. Just a nice smooth rev to catch. Also remember you are slipping the clutch not dumping it. Don't pull it in all the way, just slip it and your rpm's won't drop as much. As far as hurting your bike....If you don't want it fuct up don't stunt it. It is bound to get fuct up sooner or later. Also if you never **** your clutch up you don't get to learn how to do a new one.
