because there's more torque at lower rpm's, so you can snap it up easier, with steep gears your first gear now will be like 2nd

It's the nature of mechanics. Get a mountain bike that has 3 sprockets in the front and like 7 in the back and switch through them. That's the best way to feel the differences

If you have a bigger one in the back as opposed to the stock one you will have more torque (at the rear wheel) with the same amount of HP. But with that you will have lower speeds because one rotation of the front sprocket (which is smaller) will put half (or maybe less) of rotation on the rear sprocket therefore less rotation on the rear wheel.

How did you like it other than being too much for the streets?

You can order chain and sprockets directly from Sprocket Specialists website. I think Shugga can hook you up at the Stuntlife store also.

"why changing to bigger sprockets help with 12s and slow sh$t? "

it brings more power at a lower MPH

Stock 7500 rpm @ 40MPH

GEared 7500 rpm @ 25MPH

More Rpm = More HP = Easier to control

Its all So you can have the same conrol as a fast wheelie at lower MPH
