Fastest wheelie competitions

How does this work? can you be going as fast as you want than lift it where ever you want or is there a certain point in the track that you have to have the front wheel in the air? ive always wondered this.

at the starboyz stuntfest last year, the front wheel had to be off the ground by the 60ft. mark on the dragstrip. the wheel has to stay up the whole time and past the two event watchers at the end of the 1/4 mile. if the wheel comes down, you are out. track speed traps catch the back wheel and there's your speed, fastest one wins....

yeah, the hard part is the begining of the track.start boyz event had a very very short area behind the start line, so if you cant shift in a wheelie, forget it.... but yeah, thats it

yea and i was on a 750.....the only way to carry a fast wheelie is to chase the living **** outta the damn thing.. i lost to a GSX-R 1000.. BASTARD! but i did have a higher speed through the traps then almost every single person.. but who i went up against had a higher speed. eliminated my azz!
