all tonyd does is spread the pads from the rotors on his front brakes. then he doesnt use them while he practices to keep the wheel spinning. you can take the dust seals out to help also. have you ever tried it? it feels really wierd like the bars are hard to turn.

doug domokus had a electric motor on his bikes and that mo fo could freakin wheelie.
i think that the rear brake on the bar is a very good idea. i always wondered how it worked and was talking to ant the other weekend in li.( wich by the way i have to admit ive seen you in videos, and been around him at comps the last several years and always was alittle intimidated by you) and he was super cool about explaining the set up and everything. like anything new i imagine it takes some getting used to, but as far as trying new tricks and being safer its great idea.
