bouncing or clutching?
i was wondering what most people do. i clutch my second gear sitdowns. i power my first gear, but i really dont do those much. i can bounce second up fine. when i try to clutch up second standing it comes so fast i puts me back in my seat.
for info sake im geared -1/+2 on 2k1 gsxr 750.

I do a combintion of both. First is just on power obvioulsy, no reason to bouce or clutch. Second i can power it up, but i have to go faster than I want to be going to do it. So i usually clutch it in second, and get it balanced out. I have been doing some standups lately, bouncing it, but it doesn't really involve bouncing. I just stand up and roll it on and the thing comes up FAST. I have started bouncing it in third cause it's not quite so fast coming up. However you do it, cover the damn brake.

I'm a bit of a bouncer but the bike does it so easily in second. I guess at the moment since I tore all the teeth off my rear sprocket, I'm just deciding what ratios to use instead. I know mine is already non standard, but I was thinking about going up one more tooth on the rear. Any suggestions?
