Getting to Westhampton without passing the SCPD checkpoint
If you're going to the starboyz show on the 31st, and coming through NYC, listen up. The Suffolk county PD frequently sets up a motorcycle checkpoint near exit 67 on the LI expressway. They give tickets for everything.
If you're taking the Long Island expressway east (495) to Westhampton and your bike wont pass inspection, go this way. I believe this only applies to people riding there. You should be safe if your trailering, but this way isnt really longer so you might want to do it anyway.
Get off 495 at exit 62 south (Nichols Rd)
Take that a few miles to 27 east (sunrise highway aka POW memorial highway)
Then follow these directions

They set up on Old Country rd. right by the track in both directions. There is no way around it, I got 4 tickets last year and won't be going this year, I sold my truck and know I'll get hasseled on my bike. If your bike isn't legal you better trailer it.
