camo paint job.
my boyfriend just got a bike and wants to have it painted camouflaged. he doesn't want a fancy paint job. he'll probably just use spray paint. Or is there a better way of doing this? PLEASE HELP. This bike is orange and and that color has to go!!

Use camo fabric. I did the tail section of my gixxer and all the plastics on my 50. Use 3m spray adhesive and hot glue on the edges. As an added bonus it gives your bike a little more abrasion resistance. There is an army navy store online that sells all diffrent camo patterns for like $5 a yard.

Yep, use fabric. Lots easier than trying to paint that stuff.

yeah, if you are like me you can use the fabric and STILL have people say "wow, that is an awesome paint job, how long did that take?" dorks.

Fabric is te best way. I have covered bikes 5 times. It usually takes 4-5 hours to do it. But when you are done it looks great. Also it is easier to change than a paint job.

Krylon at walmart= 3.50 a can, if it is a stunt bike it doesnt have to be pretty.

Notice the hot glue on the edges. It helps to keep the fabric from pulling up on the edges. Don't forget the spray adhesive on the panel.

ok... my fiance's old bike was snow cammo and my new bike is urban camo ... its not fabric... its half paint half stickers and then clear coated.




by the way... does anyone know how i can get this pic as my avatar?
