Kyle as long as you have a copy of the track waiver he signed to get on the track you should be all set.

People suing is the reason we can't find places to ride. I freaking hate it, if something happens suck it up. You got on the bike, you knew what could happen, have your friends load you up in the truck and take it to the house. We lost a excellent practice place down here for someone crashing and trying to get lawyers and crap, except it was a car not a bike. Freaking mile long ex run way, now dragstrip.

sad. lawsuits have ruined america.(not really but you know what i mean) just stop and think for a second how many things you have giving up/can't do/can't let people do. because of fear that someone would get sued.

off topic side story

a friend of mine let someone test ride his bike (he was selling it) and the guy wrecked. not only did he wreck my friends bike he tried to sue him on top of it. never heard the outcome but, really WTF??

Unfortunately it's not that easy. Waivers don't always hold up in court.

i know everyone that was on the track signed a waiver and dirty b you are correct they don't always hold up in court. i have mixed emotions of who was at fault. i think they both were. you don't stop in the middle of the track to do circles when you have others waiting. if you have that kinda control do it on the end. on the other hand the kid doin' the high speed shoulda been payin' attention. a pro never would have let that happen. and i saw the kid who did the high speed a couple of weeks ago out at the track w/o a bike. if we can't take responsibility for our actions this sport will be buried real quick. one question though, why file a claim of insurance and tell them you were doin' stunts? you're askin for trouble. dumbass!!

Your right...for just about every waiver signed I can find a lawyer that will fight and sometimes win in court that it is null and void. We have become a "sue everybody" society.

Don't sweat it peeps.
I have been in contact with the ins. company the kid was trying to make a claim through. Everything should come out alright.

Kyle;
If the ins company has contacted you in the last 3 days call me. I want to make sure they are not trying to do something behind my back.
Thanks
Glen
