There is no set limit. A stunted bike will be beat, but they can still last if they are taken care of. Hondas last the longest, gixxers fall apart but they make good power. Yamahas dont stunt as well so I wouldnt buy one, IMO. good luck!

I sell lots of bikes- up here in NY 10,000 is considered alot. But I'm sure in Florida everyone has that many. I've had my own bikes well into the 30's (all hondas) so I think if they are cared for they can last forever, By the way my high mileage bikes were beat to hell and never blew up. Buy a honda!

Honda is the only way to go. My 900 has 41000 miles. My ZX6 needed a new motor after 2800 miles. You do the math. Good luck

Papa Kevs F4i has to be up around 23-24,000. It runs as good as the 1st day he bought it.

Nothing over 5000-8000 miles on a 1000 of any kind and no more than 20,000 on a 600. I think these are a good rule of thumb if you are looking for something that will last. Always buy from a squid or an adult and your bike should be pretty un malested.

Your ZX6 blew up after 2800 miles, lol. My buddies has 42,000 miles and never had a problem. It all depends on how it's rode, the bike, and how it's maintained. My gixxer 600 was good for 18,000 stunt miles. I'd go with the F4i, because there are more parts for it.

with the RR ..if you decide to add a scrape bar what does the subframe look like for bolting 1 up. Never looked into it.

DetroitStyle is a decent person
I bought an 01 Gixxer 1000 in May with 4500 miles on it. I just turned 11,500... so I've put 7,000 miles on it 4 months. I do my shared of wheelies, but I don't quite "stunt" it.

It's holding together just fine. I'll let you know at 20K too.
