No !!

Actually Nate Adams had a flawless, perfectly executed run and should have got the Gold, with /maybe/ Deegan second, but not officially.

Pastrana would have taken second, and he told the interviewers so as well.

Deegan pulled his 360 (not a backflip) after time ran out and Pastrana did his after the horn, BUT that is permissable in the comps. So Pastrana's counted and Deegans didn't. ...which would put Travis in second - in my worthless opinion !!

The 360 deegan did in big air looked more like a back flip than anything.

Nate Adams back flip heelclickers are so smooth

Mike Johns has huge ***** for trying a barrelroll.

Thumbs down

Yeah that was some B.S. I thought Deegans run was way better than Pastranas. Pastrana did his first one and fell off that **** but Deegan threw one up first after the time limit and so did Pastrana. Deegan's West Coast Choppers bike was off the hook.

Here is what one of the judges said on www.freestyleMTX.com

Well I can best explain it by this- a freestyle run is 90 seconds you are talking about two jumps that Pastrana flubbed, but you take into consideration all the other aspects of his ride and you got a winning run. I mean I have explained in other posts he took risks that no other rider took and used the course. I think some people are looking at the actull "air time" and they think that is all that counts.... FREESTYLE means just that Free- Style, it is an expression. you have 90 seconds to express yourself to the best of your ability. show your bike skills to the best of your ability in the time alloted. It is an overall appearance. Now- Nate and Kenny both did SOLID technically sound runs, Nates was a little more risky and he was rewarded with that 2nd!!! Kenny on the other hand was so technical that he rode like a robot, he didn't do any of the combo's he's famous for and he didn't ride like Kenny. Now when Travis came out, he started with a bang, that first jump was the most risky of the whole night....360's included. I don't care what anybody says flipping the first double into the second one after coming down the peristyle was absolutely the most technical trick of the night. He landed it perfect into a K.O.D. he shortened all his turns by sliding through the inside and pinned it in between the jumps he used jumps nobody else did, he was just going for it and the skill on his bike was amazing. Don't get me wrong now- keep following me... Now Nate did awesome tricks and he flipped the other 80 footer regular ramp, he used the same line that everybod used and he rode conservatively in between the jumps He rode awesome and I believe it or not think that it was a toss up between Nate and Travis. although there are five judges the high and the low is thrown out and we go with the average of the three scores remaining. He got 2nd, 5 judges enter there score and the computer averages, and that is how it came out. So when you take all aspects of the entire run, not just tricks the results ended up how they did. Some people will disagree and some won't. I mean I am sure some of my judges had Nate winning and some didn't... In the big picture of the ENTIRE run from the time the clock started to the time the clock was out I am confident in the scores.
