Cbr 900rr 1994 ok I set it to low idle and it knocks but not at rpm past 1500 but the it stays at 2000 to 2500 rpm even when I turn idle screw down please help lol what makes this do it

It's a self adjusting one, you'll have to replace it... It also might
be more serious than that and be the #3 rod bearing

also could be you just need to adjust your valves...

is it a ticking sound or a knocking sound. my cbr did that, at first it was the cct, then it was the cct and a spun bearing. the ticking of a cct almost sounds paperish, but that rod knock is one of those god damnit it know exactly wtf that sound is

nope a sweet rod knock will knock regardless of the rpms

The 2 pipe from the left stays cold on the header and the knock stops when I pull in the clutch? cct?
