engine cages

hey, I know this will have been covered millions of times but here in the uk we can't seem to get these things so easy and I am not sure I can be bothered to fab one / borrow a hyd pipe bender...

I have a 99 R6 (yep not the best bike) but I have been looking at freestyle ingenuity cages, it looks like a lot of good guys use these?

any other recommendations as I can't view the product before I order it and needs to ship to the UK.

Looking on FI's website they look a bit weak? I am new to learning technical stuff so it will hit the deck a few times...

advice appreciated :-)

Re: engine cages

oh well too late now!

I bought a sick innovations cage with sliders and have ordered a round bar too, will make a steel sub frame and fit it to that with steel hangers and stunt pegs..

got a tank coming to bash the crap out of the top - just need to get me a rear hand brake... then I'm all set to do some slow stuff :-)

Re: engine cages

I have an R6 as well. Still haven't decided on a cage. Racing905 are stout but I personally find them too restrictive. I had a buddy with an SI cage on his 636 it's held up and done it's job but it looks hella sketch to me. I'm looking into ATown, Impact, or maybe see if this new On Point team is interested in fabbing up a prototype for an r6..... They do F4I and 636 parts now and they look DOPE! good luck and happy stunting! stay up!

Re: engine cages

Griffy cages are nice. they are a little bit on the wider side but they come with a scrape pad on the sides so it wont damage your cage a ton.

Re: engine cages

Hi again guys, hope your well

anyone had any dealing with sick innovations?

I thought I might have heard something by now (ref my order)

Maybe they would send an email to say it is in stock or it will take x weeks to fab or we have shipped it - tracking number.........

I have sent them an email so, If I don't hear from them I will call them.
