stunting a 07 600RR

hey guys iv been stunting my 900RR for years. bought a 929 cause they are the new stunt machines and all around good bike. the problem is i bought it out of state paid a shipping company to ship it to me, and the son of a bitch stole the bike. i really would like a f4i to stunt. long story short i can grab a 600rr fairly cheap. with 800 miles on it so im thinking i will. my question is i know the tank covers are plastic and a pain the *** to dent ,but other than that are they ok for stunting ??? or should i say screw it and just look for the f4i ? thanks

F4i would def be the route if your new to the game. I just bought rowdys old 08 600rr a few weeks ago and its a beast. You have to do an idle cable mod and disconnect the speed sensor to even think about turning the idle up... They tend to roll up on the bars and **** all your controls up too cause the motor mounts are so low... My cage was built with higher sliders but it was ruined when i got it so im probably going to buy a Sick cage and have it modified.

FI cages are hot garbage (junk) and thats a well known fact. Sick makes awesome cages but the problem with the RR is the motor mounts are low so they tend to roll up on your bars and trash your lever and resivoirs and what not... My bike had a custom built cage that has extra slider up higher to keep the bike from rolling up on the bars. You could buy a Sick cage and have it modified.. its kind of what i plan to do cause my cage is fucked on the left side. KG MADE custom built the cage that was on my bike but it was chromoly and probably really expensive to have made.

You have to dent the metal tank then melt the top cover to fit. your ***.. Id say a heat gun would work best but i didnt dent mine it was already done.. they also built up the back of it so it has a higher ridge.. I imagine they used fiberglass or something similar.

Hope this helps theres info out ther just gotta look for it. Sucks Honda built the motor mounts so low but its something you have to deal with to ride a RR. You could save yourself a ton of trouble and buy a kawi but you'd be like everyone else and the trannys in those bikes are junk.
