probably a newb question but I have a 03 636 and I'm trying to flip my clip ons and I need to remove the top triple. my question is does the bike have to be on stands so theres no load on the front? or can I just remove it real fast while the bike is on the kickstand? need to know asap thanks!!!

 

you shouldnt have to worry about it being on stands if your just taking the top of it off. if you loosen up both the top and the bottom then yes because then the forks will just slide right through. But with taking the top off it shouldnt matter.
