Whats good gangstas?!
I've been doing clutch ups on my F2 for a few weeks now and getting better, but I keep dropping the Front end pretty hard....and well.....I think its shot. I want to upgrade to some beefy USD's So I wont have to worry about setting it down hard on spaghetti noodle forks. I have been reading a lot about how CBR forks from newer gens are simple bolt ons. But that has only been for F4i - rr swaps. For the f2, the stem is supposedly longer, but i don't know what that means for the rr forks.Im just looking to easily swap to Usd's without alot of down time/ machining. I can remove steering stops, and little things here and there. But I cant make a whole new steering stem. I was thinking of just upgrading for f3 internals and whatnot, but Id rather " Buy nice than buy twice" Nah mean? Just looking to swap my beater forks for some fresh USD's.


So, if i buy CBR RR forks the whole front end. Can I swap it over with my garage tool set?

I know I spelled forks wrong! MY BAD YO. But somebody else has got to have a bit of fork swap guidance!?

hey man you will need the triple tree,forks,wheel,i think some cbr rr triple will fit with no prob

Ok so as long as I have the whole set i should be good. and get the appropriate bearings. But would that mean the stems for the F2- Cbr rr are the same? You wouldnt happen to have done this swap prior would you? Thanks for the reply!

yeah i have done it,i have a cbr f2 and i have zx10r 07 front end i used a zx10r triple tree (i changed the bearings of the stem and made stops) ,forks,brakes,wheels.
i thing the triplee trees of f4 ,929 and some years of rr are direct bolt on,but i cant remember witch model.
