well motor started makin noise at the lot the other day at a certain rpm, no cluster guessin around 5k-6k rpm. then stops right around that 6k rpm. so i replaced the cct and still makes the noise. Could the guides be bad? Sounds like noise is from head, i hear the slight cling of cam chain but this other noise is much louder. goin to a shop tomorrow to get somewhat of an idea just curious what experience everyone else has had....

Did you put in an APE cct? Did you tune it correctly? Did you stretch out the cam chain itself?

Could be many things.

put a new stocker from dealer back in....

Stock CCT's are absolute garbage. You've wasted you money. Go buy a APE cct and watch how easy it is to put in and how it will last 10times longer than a stocker. Stock cct's go out more than tires it seems.
