stock stearing dampner

can i tighten the stock stearing dampner on my k7 750?

the answer is no but you can replace the existing oil with a heavier weight
if not you will need a gpr or scotts replacement

honestly the stock one is pretty limited as it is and is nothing compared to any aftermarket damper

but then again my k6 600 was only used for street duty so wheelies and some stoppies but not much else

what wieght you think is best? i am stunting it out somewhat but its still my everyday rider bike

use a 7 - 10 w on it stock is usually 5w.

Let me throw in my 2 cents now(from experience) stock weight oil in damper is 2.5w. Flush that and replace with 20w bel rey fork oil, get all bubbles out, it will be a world of difference. Not too much for road ridding, and awesome for the lot, i did it on mine and i was very happy(especially to save the $500 for a gpr if it wouldnt have worked).

Youtube has step by step easy break down videos of the exact proccess, follow it and you cant go wrong.
