Question Clutch Levers//Dirtbike Bars

Ok so I have a 06 636 fully set up and everything but I kept the stock clutch. It doesn't not work but I'm wondering if an easy pull is worth the cash.

Another question I have is drilling my triple tree and installing dirt bike bars going to work ok? Or do I have to fork over the cash for a Hohey? Thanks for the help.

28 views and nobody has responded yet. that's sad.

Yes, mine are drilled and works perfect. Just make sure they are drilled strait.
I know a couple guys who run the righteous easy pull. It's ******* !! I'm ordering one soon.

Re: Clutch Levers//Dirtbike Bars

Thanks for the advice I'm definitely going to drill them. How often do you bend your bars? i remember a guy on here about a year ago was selling solid bars but that seems like you'd break something more important lol.

I would rather have my bars bend/break in a crash vs it F'ing
up my top triple.... (Easier and cheaper to replace bars.. )

I have also pancaked my bike a bunch of times and never
had any issues....

That's what I thought also. I'm newer to slow wheelies so I plan on eatin it a ton

I barely get any time to practice being in the army but I get out next month and I'm really going to step it up.

Re: Clutch Levers//Dirtbike Bars

7/8" Scary Gary bars and 1 1/8" bars the most popular bends and neither have much for problems with bending even after several good crashes. EZ Pulls are definitely worth running! Moose and MSR Raptor have been around forever and inexpensive, but not as strong as the Righteous lever.

Re: Clutch Levers//Dirtbike Bars

I went to DB bars just cause i was tired of replacing clip ons every week. They hold up great, never had a problem with drilling the tripple yet? And definately get an easy pull, makes life so much easier....I did the easy pull lever and box. I can pull it with almost no effort at all now...

Re: Clutch Levers//Dirtbike Bars

I put mine down pretty hard the other day. The bars held up just fine. it even went down hard enough to rub one side of the bar down into the throttle. I have some spare renthal bars that I'd let you get off of me. They have a super high bend so you may have to run longer lines.

As for the easy pull. Moose and MSR are cheaper. I'm running an msr right now that I had to cut down so that it was truly a shorty. They work, but once you get your mits on a righteous you will never want to go back. HUGE difference.
