Re: 06/07 gsxr setup/mods

My setup on 07 750 is as follows: Si cage, OMR subcage, Fi round bar, stripped naked minus gauge cluster (cause i ride the road as well), 1.5" risers with fat bar dirtbike bars(cause it soooo much better for me since im taller, flipped and swapped just wouldnt cut it), extended clutch arm, siliconed my tos, clean air mod, usa to european mod(from when it used to be minty), -2 +9, two bros exhaust(highly advise against cause she too loud for some spots i ride at(or used to ride at), resprung front forks to optimize endos, kept stock stabilizer but replaced that 2.5 W oil with 20W, moose easy pull, 1000rr radial master, asv on stock front brake, steel braided brake lines all around, moved ignition to right side intake, o-town dent(still swapping tanks to figure out what i like best), put my fan on a switch with a relay, in the not so distant future im having a subframe made a little stronger. I concidered selling it a few times before cause as many people can tell u, these gsxrs are not the exactly stunt friendly for many reasons, my 3 biggest issues are twitchy throttle(great respose for drag and fun on street, not so much for stunting), clutch is not so easy to pull, and last but certainly not least, the easy to snap pillar/subframe. It has its advanta........ No, has a lot disadvantages, lol. So, any takers on mine?

There's a website called www.gsxrtune.com and they take the stock ecu's and change the timing, set up fuel maps, remove speed limiters, change redlines, and all kinds of ****. It's cheap and i had one done for mine and it runs way stronger now. Definitely worth giving a look.

Re: 06/07 gsxr setup/mods

I'm rocking a tygershark cage, 905 subcage, reinforced round bar, r1 front brake master, gsxr1000 radial handbrake master to HHD dual caliper, ss lines all around, otown dented tank, longer idle cable, rsc clutch lever, hid's hi and lo, vortex clipons, and the worst squid wheelies since i barely rode in the last 2 years!

I want to see pics of the clean air mod and extended clutch arm

Re: 06/07 gsxr setup/mods

Awesome thanks. Also what are you guys adjusting your forks like (compression, preload, rebound). Mine was a salvage and they are all jacked so I made them all hard and backed them out one turn each. No idea what that will do lol but I was pogoing like a **** before and could never keep endos straight on this 07

Re: 06/07 gsxr setup/mods

Ok so I just did the secondary throttle butterfly valves delete and let me warn you, DO NOT remove the actuator during ANY part of this mod. It is a bitch to get recallibrated right and not throw a code c28! just pull of throttle bodies, remove plates and reinstall throttle bodies. I had to drill the plates out and took the stva off while doing it which was a huge mistake because it is wound like a spring and becomes off and never works right again without a headache, 10 beers and a good patient friend. Just FYI. Will be interested to see if it was worth the headache for sure
