wheelie weave

I have a wheelie problem. I clutch up my sv650 in 2nd about 5 mph and ride it out to35-45 mph. its pretty high but not at the bp yet. sometimes the back end starts weaving like your on a road with them damn grooves in em. but it does this on almost every road i've tried. any suggestions.

You might try letting some air out of your tire if you haven't tried, that helped mine stay more stable when i bring it up at about 15 or so in 2nd....i can't do the real slow stuff though. Hope that helps!

What you're getting is most likely wobble from being to high in the RPM's. Especially on a twin, since redline is so low. You gotta just bring it up faster and higher and stay at the balance point. Another thing that could cause this is you're sitting back in the seat. When you do that it puts too much weight over the rear tire... Try sitting farther forward. And last, but not least.. If you're jerky on the throttle, this will also cause you to catch a wobble.

Try all of the above and you should be fine.

I do sit all the way back in my seat that might be it. as far as rpm's they stay pretty low.

sitting too far back will definetley cause it. A lot of people do it for some reason, but you really shouldn't. Sit all the way forward and see how that works for ya
