put up pics of my 00 zx6r and someone said to get rid of it and not to stunt it said the frames on them are weak now im not going to get rid of it either way but would like to know if that statement holds true please all opinions wanted

 

what breaks most frames are loose motor mounts , crashing some times crushes the part of the cage thats between the motor mount bolt and the frame and that causes the motor mount bolt to come loose ..

now with all that said yes that frame is weak but there are a bunch of people that used to stunt that bike , i had a 98

 

what about the newer 636's i am thinking about getting one how are the newer frames

 

stronger than the 2002 and lower but you still have to keep the mounts tight , oh and another thing that breaks frames that alot of people dont think of is having leaking fork seals ..

i know that sounds dumb but if your forks are low on oil they dont dampen when you slam the bike down from a wheelie and that definitely hammers your frame ..

for all the zx 6 frames i would say the 03 04 are the strongest then the 05 06 are a little weaker then the 07 08 are weaker than that and the 2002 and older are the weakest ..
