buying a chain an sprocket kit an 12 bar this week... my question is should i go 520 525 or 530, an how many teeth. might be drivin the bike bout 60 on the highway from town to town but mostly in town an lot riding. how many should i go up?

I would like a 12 bar thats pre-drilled so i can put it where it needs to be. no one else stunts here an I want it to sit at 12 oclock how its sopposed, basicly i dont want to mount the 12 bar to long or to short. thanks everyone. someone sell me some goods!!!!

and then for the chain i dont like to go 520 unless i buy a very good quality chain that wont stretch, but a 525 will do just fine. And for gearing I always ran a 60 tooth stock front on my f4i and it would do 70mph nicely on the highway, 75mph was kinda starting to rev a little to much.

The 120 link chain should cover it. 525 works fine and is strong.

525 chain, I run a 60t on my f4i, I needed I believe 118 links

I cruise highways all the time, I even travel 140 miles one way at aprox 80mph. The bike revs high, but doesn't bother me.
The sound doesn't bother me, cause on the highway, the wind noise is way worse then the engine noise. I can barely even hear the engine when I'm going 80.. As opposed to when Im going 40 I only hear the motor and not much wind

Also for perfect 12, I THINK the bar needs to be mounted so it's sitting flush with the tip of the stock tail. I'm not 100% sure though. You definitely dont want it any longer though
