636 servo cables

so i know this is kinda a noob question and not too stunt related, but from what ive seen a 636 with stock exhaust and servo hooked up pulls best on idle and rips on the bottom.

well, i bought my bike with no servo cables and not to mention the annoying fi light, but the bike doesn't seem to hit hard til 7k. so i have cables on the way but looking at them, there are adjustments.

now ive tried to look at parts fiches and manuals and they show location but say nothing about adjusting the cables.

so, i guess my question is... anyone have some knowledge about hooking these bad boys up correctly???

Re: 636 servo cables

Install them loose.(it should make it easier to put in). Then I would adjust them til they are so they are fairly tight.

Re: 636 servo cables

so i installed my servo cables and i flipped my ignition on and the servo rocks back and forth then goes to completely open. more often than not the fi light stays on and the servo fails to work but every so often be it rare, the servo will go through its warm up and stop correctly and the fi light will go out, i start up, and it works correctly.

think thats just a junk servo motor? im at a complete loss as to whats going on here, b/c when it works, oh it works amazing. but when it doesn't work, it just stays open and towards the end of its start up cycle it clicks like its skipping teeth.

any imput would be excellent.
