Re: help change my Sports bike to stunt bike

A lot of guys on here might flame you for this post. The reason is that your questions have been asked many, many times before. There is a search feature above that will help you. Some users say that it doesn't work properly but it does if you click "Advanced Search" when you access the drop down bar under "Search". You will probably have to wade through some nonsense while you are reading but we all had to do it...

Good luck and welcome to stunt riding!

...and yes you should take off your fairing until you get better at stunting and crash less.

Re: help change my Sports bike to stunt bike

i'm new too,
deff lose the fairings at least the front w/the lights...
if you plan on riding at night you'll need to fabricate some sort of light or buy one of those alien lookin fronts they start pretty cheap tho i think like 59 bucks some place and up

cage is smart
so you don't jack up any of the important things like your motor and such... good luck man

Get an easy pull clutch like an msr or a moose. Or you could get an RSC (Righteous Stunt Clutch) but they are pricey. I've heard good things about them though. I run an msr but eventually I will get an RSC.

Re: help change my Sports bike to stunt bike

Yes u need to relocate the fusebox and wires. It pretty easy and u dont need to cut any wires. I have done all of that. EZ pull cluch u can get from www.stuntbikestore.com. U dont need an oil pickup, cause they suck *****. I have one, put it on and oil light came on on stoppies. Just put more oil in, you'll never see the oil light until u start doing 12'o clock stuff. I also put steel bars from rear pegs to front, they were supposed to save the subframe. Ive hit it 2 and reallllly hard. Its has no cracks, so they must do their job.
The usual tipover sensor, pair mode stuff u probably know?

This is a good one to help u out.
Sell all your healights and spedometer, cause u gonna brake em. I sold everything else but the spedometer, smashed that 2 weeks ago.
