I Want somethign different!!! How are these to stunt?

hows it on idle? hows the tranny? longevity of motors? does it starve in stoppies or wheelies? any known problems besides soft subframe??? post up 's

i had an 05 gixxer 750... my favorite gsxr is 04/05...

put a stuntex in it and brace it where u can... great bikes

 

I agree Ross. Gixxer's get a bad rap for stunting. You just have to brace the subby. Easier to find parts for them too.

 

Mine suffered from an inconsistent idle and the throttle was choppy as ****. Fun on the streets but hated it for the lot.

 

Yeah, I use my gixxer for the streets.

 

biulding an 05 750 now

 

my first bike that i learned on was an 04 600, the motor was tuff as hell. the biggest down fall is the frame is like glass.

 

that sucks... did you have the 600 or 750?

 

For me this bike was a beast and took a beating. dont over sprocket it cause it has sick power. Out side of the 03/04 kawi best bike IMO! Do it! i know all about this bike and setting it up so holler if you need any info..

 

I had an 05 750 that i did mild street stunting on(wheelies, endos, ect.) and it was great for it. Power was more than enough. Agree with the bracing the sub frame. Im actually debating on getting another when i get home for stunting.

 

i just got an 05 600, i like it alot power is nice. very light compared to what i have ben riding (954). i have the stunt ex pick up in mine no problems with the wheellies but long stoppies the oil light does come on after a while. i almost never smash the tail, but the subs are week. i am going to have it braced.
