Ok so i am re locating my ignition to under my seat on my 03 zx6rr. I took out the grey plastic switch that starts the bike and drilled the key tumbler housing thing off of the triple clamp. As i was having my girlfriend help by holding some stuff out of the way while i drilled she asked what this was for and i showed her that turning the switch turns on and off the bike, and all of a sudden it STOPPED turning on and off the bike. I assumed the battery was dead (because it was low) but after a night of charging it, the switch still does absolutely nothing when turned. I checked all the fuses and all the connections and i can't figure out what the hell is happening. Are those grey switches easy to break or something?

If anyone has ANY ideas please let me know!
