you don't need to prove **** I don't care if you do shows all over tampa, however Gumby said to tell you as far as your well being is concerned to hit him up on your next local show. He's still waiting for this face to face conversation you are going to have.

my friends can ride my bike anytime i dont mind they dont even need to ask but looking through the thread there are two storeys and seems both have a good argument no more input from me dont wana get involved in arguments.....

 

pretty much an unspoken rule when you ride someone else's bike isn't it.?

If you get on my bike without asking, friend or not were going to have a serious problem. When I hardly know you and Im doing a show and you show up with no bike and hop on my **** without permission, yes Im going to have your *** removed. You guys wanna talk about having professional courtesy and not undercutting shows and ****. Guess what, how professional is it to ride someones bike at a show that you dont even like just to be a dick to them? As for whoever thinks that they own the Tampa show circuit, you dont. Dont be ********, if someone is getting a show that you want. Market yourself better to get a the higher price you want.

I cant wait till I am good enough to do shows, I'm gonna send fliers out to every place I can and offer free shows just to **** of the jobless riders that count on that $200/mo show and free chicken wings.

there was an old thread i cant remember the name but a few guys wanted to do a show at a drag strip during some big event and the track told them they could do the show but they wouldnt get paid and when they got to the track they even had to pay to get in so they paid to put on a stunt show ...lol

 

It's crazy how many guys are dependent on that too. I know a few. Sucks for them, but then again it was their choice. I'll stick to my daily grind and just do this for fun. I could careless if I ever got paid for it. Some free parts here and there would be nice though.

I'm not jumping into this mess since I'm not involved. But there seems to be some shadiness going on. Anyone up for a glass of hateraid?

I wouldn't PAY to do a show, but I'd do something small for free.... but I'm talking small, like just playing around on a drag strip for the crowd

However, my friends had a deal for a while where they'd throw up wheelies for 10 minutes on their 50's for $50 a piece between drag races at their local track, could come out every 2 weeks, not bad IMO just to play around on 50's

 

But yeah the people who do this for a living, or for extra money, and do it PROFESSIONALLY, thats fucked when someone under cuts them.


Compare it to your job, what if say, you paint residential/commercial for a living (I do that), then you have piece of **** painters who do terrible jobs who undercut you...

What's that do? Well first it puts me out of work cause I'm not taking a pay hit, second it makes people shady about hiring on private contractors to do their paint jobs...

And when it comes to painting, EVERYONE is shady about small companies because there are a lot of idiots out there who **** up painting somehow..... Makes it hard to get jobs, even though I paint million dollar homes and make them ******* beautiful, people are still shady about me painting their 100k home

 

True that. I can imagine the thoughts in your head dealing with those people "Dude this isn't a mansion, it's a KB Home. You should see the house I did last week!" No offense to you KB home owners, but lets face it they aren't million dollar homes.(Not like I live in one either so...)

take pictures of your work and carry a small album with you of the house inside and outside.
