slow wheelies baby steps =/
just an update really,im getting pretty good at high speed wheelies now at least i think i am,iv been practicing every day that i can for roughly 2 hours aday,i really wanna learn how to do this stuff properly so im trying my best decided after having read a zillions threads on this forum that id try doing some slower stuff but since i changed my sprockets iv been **** scared of first gear BUUT iv been out on it today for i dunno 3 hours summat like that lowered my rear tyre pressure right down and decided **** it theres only one way to do this and thats to practice if i dont im not gonna learn soooo baby steps at first, seated, complete stand still, idle up to 3.5k dipped clutch revved up to about 5 grand release clutch, cover back brake and clutch and kept increasing the revs to bring it higher each time,i didnt chase them i just gradually increased the revs to get the feel for em then brought the bike back down, like i said its just baby steps i ended up getting the front wheel maybe 50 degrees not too sure just getting the feel for it yet practice makes perfect right?

Sounds like you are going about it the right way. Just be careful. You have the bike setup? If not at least get ya a cage, and you might want to take all the plastics off. I wish I would have, then I would still be rocking the full fairing instead of the street fighter.

Re: slow wheelies baby steps =/
the way i was told is if ya have to chase them a little then do so. but like i said a little just to try an get it back to bp. thats the way i learned and was taught, but everyone is differnt and from the way it sounds your going about it the right way and yes sir practice makes perfict. good luck and keep at it

Re: slow wheelies baby steps =/
chasing it can be really bad if you dont have good brake control , think of it this way would you rather crash at 10 mph or 40 mph ? the sooner you get to balance point the slower you will be going when you crash..lol

Re: slow wheelies baby steps =/
Yeh I heard they hold up well its a toss up at the minute between a-town,SI,powerworks and tigershark I heard the tigershark ones can take a major beating Annnnd they will replace it if I somehow wreck it,bit more expensive then the others but the life time warrenty is kinda throwing me in that direction :/

Re: slow wheelies baby steps =/
I just order a tigershark cage last week I tried to get a powers but after 3 weeks and a few days of waiting and not hearin from powers I called and was told the company went out of business and is inbetween owners and told me the cage hasn't been built yet and will probably be another 2 weeks the people from tigershark were great I am very satisfied so far wish I went with them in the first place id already have it
