took a nice spill on sunday.

Me and two buddies went riding on sun. ,I decided to pull a second gear knee in seat wheelie. I'm going and going, then she starts to wobble, so I get ready to bring it down. I come down, then next thing I know I'm sliding on the asphault at about 90mph. My friend behind me said when i came down I went into a massive tankslapper.

Wierd thing is my bike is fine, it ghostrided about 100 yards then tipped over at about 5 mph.

Road rash sucks.

I also have rash on my knees, and my right forearm, my wrist is swollen, and I have a small fracture in my right elbow. Whatever....heres a pic of me and my boy in the hospital, he came in the day before me, his bike is messed up, and he is a little worse than me as you can tell.

I've crashed twice in the past three weeks and ripped up the same arm. I think its time to get a jacket.

He's a big boy, he can make his own decisions. I came to stuntlife because I was tired of hearing annoying nannies ruining every post with repeated requests that you should wear a helmet, gear, etc. Tell him once, leave it at that. Obviously, he knows he made a mistake, because he's feeling the pain. Let him decide what he wants to do, and leave him the hell alone.

Everytime I hear of a person bringing it down at highway speeds going into a tankslapper I think to myself "why not get a damper?" I think it would have saved most of the bring it down tankslapper moments so many have experienced?

IMHO

I know I do need to get one, the only thing stopping me is that next year i'm getting a new bike, and it already has one. I already know the specific bike that I'm buying from someone, so it kinda seems like a waste to buy a damper, but I guess not. Oh well, i just can't wait to ride again, the rash isn't stopping me its the sore elbow, and wrist.
