WOW, you're a rare one then. I disagree, I don't see it as idiotic when I ride 1 mile at a max speed of 35 without a jacket. I will not move the bike without a lid, but at times I'll skip on the jacket, boots, etc. That may have something to do with the fact that it is much hotter here and my bikes are the only street legal things I have. I can't see putting on full leather to go 1 block to my buddies house in 90+ heat.
