Does anyone ride a 05'- 06' 636 with the tail pipe under the back seat? Does you pipe get hot and cause the pc board to hear up and the bike cut off? My fellow rider rides one and when we been out riding before it gets so hot his bike cuts off so he wrapped some "rope" like material around it. anyways the other day he was walking a wheelie at like 15 -20 mph and while he was in the air his bike cut off and he fell. I was just wondering if that is a common problem with 05'-06' 636's?

 

uhh... nah not a common problem. i have an 05 and that's never happened to me. i mean, my undertail gets warm and my *** sweats sometimes on long rides but its never gotten hot enough to effect the electronics and mess with the functionality of the motor. sounds kinda like the tip over sensor fucked up mid wheelie? idk.... id make sure that's bypassed.
