i stunt an NSR50 street fighter known as a NS50f biggest thing that sucks is the drum brakes as long as its disk brakes you should be good. heres a pic of me trying to wheelie the hole 1/4 mile at the track friend racing me is on the same kinda bike.

Re: nsr 125 as a stunt bike

also put an intake on it and jet it it will give you 10 times the low end torque making it better for stunting

What's he wanting to do, mod the air box, and/or exhaust?

If so, I'd say try going up 1-3 sizes on the main jet, 1 size on the pilot jet, and see how it runs..

if he isn't modding anything, there shouldn't be any reason to rejet it. Maybe a good carb cleaning if its had old gas sitting in it

With jetting you just have to experiment.. Start with the main jet and getting the bike to run the best at high rpm full throttle.. Then adjust the needle tell the mid range feels the best, then adjust the pilot jet and pilot screw tell the idle/bottom end feels best
Jetting can be a pain in the *** tell you learn more about it, but once you learn how to do it, it's nice being able to take anyones bike that runs like ***, and get it running better then they've had it before. But can quickly end up spending 3+ hours jetting (on a sport bike) before you get it close to running right =\
