Atown Subframe help
anybody rockin these help me out. what are the necessary mods i need to make. i have it mounted and everything is fine until i go to put my tail back on. i wanted to hold off on cutting down my battery tray until i was certain that would remedy my problem. I know alot of ppl have said you need to do this.

Re: Atown Subframe help
installing it wasnt too hard. it had a few fitment problems, but nothing major. to start, the top mounts were a little too wide(by like 1/4 inch). i ordered a cage at the same time, so i just used the allthread to squeeze the lower mounts closer(which made the top mounts come together more than enough), and threw in the stock bolts. there was my next problem. the stock bolts dont fit. I had to go to the fastenal store and buy heavy duty bolts and nuts. not a big problem. after i had it mounted up, i had to cut the plastic tray as you can see. some tin snips made easy work of that. after that, it was time to mount the passenger pegs again. another problem. the atown subframe uses a steel plate, and is thinner than stock. i had to put a washer or two on each screw for the pass pegs. so again, not a big problem. after that, it was just get the plastic back on and go.

Re: Atown Subframe help
I just had to trim the **** out of the battery tray to make it all fit. Wasn't bad but it was the only way to get the tail plastics back on. Not like it matters they are all busted to **** anyways.

Re: Atown Subframe help
Here is a **** poor picture of mine though the tail plastics are FUCKED. but if the plastic were still there I would have only had to trim a small piece out.

Re: Atown Subframe help
This thing is driving me ****** bananas, i still cant get it to line up right.
if i have the tail in the right place the entire undertail is about an inch further back than the tail. ive already hacked a bunch of the battery tray off and it still isnt lining up. anyone else got any ideas
