You guys hear on the news about the guy that got pulled over by maryland state police, gun was drawn by the trooper that was in an unmarked car and wearing normal clothes. Well the guy posted his gopro video and is now being charged for the video. They are trying to hem him up for 5 years over it. Sooo stupid!

The pulling of the gun was overkill. However, the 5 years worth of charges most likely came from the department and not the cop. Not all of us are bad guys

I would not have pulled my gun nor would 90% of the police officers in this country. But we also didn;t get the full story. Did the cop follow him for ages? Was the gun trying to run and finally got caught up by the UC at the light? This wasn't told in the story. And if you haet all of us so bad, the next time your bike gets stolen, or your sister gets raped, or someone breaks into your mother's house and robs her blind to fuel their drug habits, or a Drunk Driver kills your daughter, then please PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT CALL US.

+1...there are a lot of dick cops out there, but there are also quite a few good ones out there too. it may **** you off when they bust you for rocking a wheelie or tearing down the street at like 120, but like it or not, that is ILLEGAL. they are just doing their job. i do think the cop went overboard without any other details, but the cop never aimed the gun at him. all that being said, i think it could have been handled MUCH better.

 

Whata buchcha ****! the trooper had no reason to pull his gun out he was never in any danger. Plus the camera was obvious you gotta be an idiot not to see it. The guy on the bike was in the most danger having a gun drawn by a man in no uniforme. I woulda freaked out immedialtely and got outta there!
