begining stunter

i always wanted to get good at stunting but i guess never got around to getting into it much. ive always done power wheelies and some clutchy wheelies but nothing more than that. now that i wrecked my 954 im just gonna stunt it out. like i said im somewhat comfortable with wheelies but not nearly enough. i wanna get a bigger sprocket and was thinking of going +10. wat do u think

If your serious about stunting trade that thing for an already stunted out f4i. You need alot more parts than just a sprocket so try to find a bike already loaded.

a cage is usually the first thing you need when thinking of stunting your bike!! among a few others

Re: begining stunter

Maybe you should see what you can do with a few sessions of the stock gears in the lot first. I would think +10 on the rear would make that bike twitchy as hell and a bit difficult when you are trying to go from what sounds like highway stuff to the lot.

Re: begining stunter

its a 954...it should come up pretty easy on stock. i personally wouldnt go any more than 5 or so up in the back. i think that would almost make it too twitchy

Re: begining stunter

yeah the front end does come up real easy. i guess i havent really tried doing clutch wheelies from a slow speed to get that slow high wheelie. i figured a sprocket would help me out with that

Re: begining stunter

and i also figured that a sprocket would help with tearing my clutch plates to hell. i just got them replaced. i cant remember nthe name brand but i know there not cheap and i didnt wanna tear em up.

Re: begining stunter

i stunt a 954 it is really hard to controll in the lot takes time. but on the street its great(city riding no hiways) i run 2 down in the front,up eight on the rear. bike only gos about 110 120 mph on the rev limiter. i can do circles but it is very hard. i do all my lot **** with just idle, almost never use the throttle only to get her up there. the more you gear it, the harder it is to ride. i have tons of engine brake with this set up. its the best street stunter on the planet. in the lot probly the worst or the hardets to learn on. i would run just 1 down on the front and add two in the rear should be good, and you can still get away from the boys on the hiway if they come for you.

Re: begining stunter

so ur bike is good with just doing straight wheelies weather its slow or fast? and almost on the tail? but wen it com es to slow circles and stuff like that its difficult on a 954?
