636 twitchy on off throttel

in ridin a 2005 zx636r how can i make my throttle les twitchy?

Seat time and throttle control. That will probably help you more than anything.

If ur comin from an f4i yes they are much more twitchy with tons and tons of engine brake. just get used to it i guess...

i tightend up my throttle cables and set the idle up to around 3500rpm seamed to help alot

if u disconnect the exhaust butterfly it will get rid of alot of the excessive engine brake...

I will definately have to argue with that... I can hook it back up right now and itll chop more, with NOOO pull increase.

The pull on my kawi is soooo stupid strong nobody could need more...

The day i disconnected the cables it was a world better...

im on an 07 kawi 6r now and came from an f4i... holy hell is it much more throttle choppy than the f4i... im thinking about switching throttle tubes to something alse... ive taken the butterfly completely off and just have a homeade exhaust on there... still is responsive as hell.. im gonna play with a few things.... ill let u know what i come up with

ok then what do you think they put the valve on for ? when the valve is closed it increases low end torque but opens to allow for maximum hp high in the revs

The exhaust butterfly is only on the US models with emissions control, right?

no im pretty sure they are on all the 05 06 models , i could be wrong but i dont think i am..

i know on the 03 04 the california models have extra emissions equipment like a charcoal canister but the rest of the US models dont have the canister

how would a throttel tube make a diference ?

different diameters where the cables connect to the throttle tube will cause the throttle to open slower or faster depending on the size ..

bigger diameter =faster smaller diameter =slower

So if I have a stock 636 exhaust (03-04) and I have an after market exhaust, all things being equal, the stock exhaust will generate more back pressure at low end and will have a harder "pull" at the same rmp?
