Sick Innovations cage yea..what happend

Soo me and my dude were out riding today.. he was in a slow wheelie stalled the bike came down and this happend.. it wasnt even that hard of a drop! anyone else have this happen.. hes like sick and there parts he has a lot of there parts on the bike but damn the most important one failed bad!

I would guess it wasn't tight enough.

umm the cage looks fine,, the bolts are bent.. so ya,, tighten then up next time. buy a hardware kit from ian and try again

That is what I thought. I love mine too on my 636... Been beating on it since 2007 on the regular.

no the gusset by the motor mount is there just not in that pic...

never liked the old style si crash cage for the 636 but the new looks like it took care of all the old problems

Look in the pics the left side tube going to the lower cross bar is bent.. the right side in the back bar is bent down.. Its NOt just bolts. and yes these bolts were tight.. they have 4ft breaker bar all over them tight. An since the bolts are bent looks like its gonna have to get cut off to get the bolts out cause the head wont allow allen socket it in there.
