Re: GPR or Scotts

got ohlins now came stock on the bike.....thought ohlins and hyperpro are more for the back road master and gpr and scotts would be more for stoppies due to the gear and not dampin or rotary will say

Re: GPR or Scotts

this is the first gpr i had came on the bike never had a scotts but i cant complain cause the gpr works great for me... Ive had the stock gsxr one which i ran stock it sucked so i rebuilt it with heavier fluid, wasnt to bad... I had a ohlins but it was one that came stock on a zx-14... the ones that come factory on the bike are garbage, they are mass produced and are nothin compared to orderin a ohlins aftermarket... jus my on some of the stabilizers ive used....

Re: GPR or Scotts

never had nothing but gpr and have always done the job. im sure scotts works just as well but i like the simplicity of one dampening adjustment on the gpr.

Exclamation Re: GPR or Scotts

CATCH SOME TANK SLAP- and even if you dont go down then i still wouldnt question the price of a damper- the feeling of tank slap will scare the **** out of you if it doesnt send you to the wonderful world of roadrash....i had gpr dampers on all of my bikes and i have no bad comments, comes in a sick color selection to!

+1 I hear stories of all the rotary ones leaking

I haven't heard any stories about the rod style having leaking problems

but only like $35 to get a gpr rebuilt, and I got a used leaking one for $75 that looks minty from the outside
