Do you want to backup your DVD collection to Blank Disc or your computer in ISO file in case of losing or damaging them accidently one day.
A popular application called DVD Decrypter lets you copy an entire DVD onto your computer’s hard drive, and it bypasses any copy protection mechanisms that would make duplicating a store-bought DVD otherwise impossible. The only problem is that new copy protection algorithms are frequently being created, and this application hasn’t been updated since 2005.
For that reason you could use Tipard DVD Cloner 6 or Tipard DVD Cloner 6 for Mac. They can copy an entire movie to the hard disk while removing all traces of copy protection (CSS, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs and Sony ARccOS) and are frequently updated, and best of all they are not hard to use.

Don't do it, there are many programs out there that work and will not infect your computer with spyware for this purpose.

Do not trust this software.

The only way you get a good "safe" copy that will do full copies without watermarks is to pay them $45 for the software.

Your best bet is to use other truly free software that is available under the GNU or GPL license.

If your rocking a 32bit version of Windows drop andlinux-beta2-kde on your machine and then install linux ripping software called dvd::rip. This will create .mkv or .mp4 files for your viewing enjoyment from the hard drive, takes up about 700mb per movie and will be higher quality than ripping and reducing to a smaller format DVD. If you sill want to downcovert even further use DeVeDe to convert your MPG (.mkv or .mp4) file to a 700mb .iso file.
