Re: Test of Stunt Game Engine
You will all be putting your foot in your mouths. I'm going to do this by myself or with help. Obviously you guys feel like trying to have a pissing match.
How is it so impossible? I see only time in my way.

Just an FYI - I have no opinion on whether you'll actually do this or not. Nor do I really care lol. Im just enjoying the thread but when you and Inolen are typing back and forth - for the rest of us you might as well be speaking Arabic coz no one understands you *******. Its just funny to read tho

I have a PS3 that is used strictly as a BlueRay player and an Xbox 360 that is used strictly for streaming Netflix.... I can't remember the last video game I played. GTA

well ps3 is pretty much just a blueray player.. lol. Theres a couple good games not many. XBOX 360 rulez, and if u got a good pc, the PC games crush em both. Nah ur miss'n out i promise. But its whatever everyone wants. I dont get much time to play ridn all the time, but i couldnt imagine not playin. And i dont think its expensive, its more expensive to smoke cigarettes, or buy skanks greygoose and redbull.. lol

Re: Test of Stunt Game Engine
Give it another shot, I just uploaded a rebuilt version. Uninstall the one you got and delete the old zip file and the files out of it first. Then download the new test.zip from the same link. It will check your PC and upgrade it with the required Microsoft frameworks to be compatible. I made a version with all the required frameworks just to see how bit it would be if it was all inclusive and it was around 200MB! Way too big for a simple test. As it sits now it is only 1.8MB. Sorry about the confusion. I didn't have the proper settings for publishing earlier.
If it does not ask you to download files from Microsoft and it still does not work PM me so I can walk you though how to send me a screen shot of your error log, it may give me a clue on how to make it work for you. Thank you for trying!
Sorry it took so long for a fixed install test, I've been knee deep in physics and forgot to update the test file on the web page.
PS What version of Windows? I'm assuming Vista?
I have ran the new install in a vanilla WinXP virtual PC environment and the install goes well, it connects and gets the correct framework updates from Microsoft, but then does not run the game because my VirtualBox does not fully support D3D. It should install and render the bike now for most everyone. If your video card does not support pixel shaders 1.1 it will not run also. (This is only because I am running a "false" PC inside my current Windows environment.)
If your video card is relatively new, try going to the manufacturers website and downloading their newest drivers.
Example of Pixel Shader error:

Re: Test of Stunt Game Engine
Hello, I'm working on the center of gravity for one of the models in the game now. If anyone with a 2006/2007 R6 could help me out that would be great.
I know the bike (stock) weighs around 417lbs wet.
What I need to know to calculate the center of gravity is this information:
Weight on front tire when bike is level
Weight on rear tire when bike is level
Weight on front tire when rear tire is lifted 14 inches off the ground
If I could get this information for a Naked, SF, and FF bike that would be great along with total weight if it differs from 417lbs.
This information will help me with the feel of the game, currently my physics are just half assed but I want to add as much true simulation detail as possible to bring out the realism.
