Im looking for a new cage for my 04 636 looking for something small but can still take the impact and also need to be able to hit the streets and turns ..

Its between the SI, ATOWNCUSTOMS, TIGERSHARK info and feed back please ans thanks J..

 

www.myspace.com/impaktech for the best cages/bars/subcages on the market IMO i have been running them for going on 2 yrs. from an 06 gixxer to a 05 and 03 636 and ive NEVER had a weld break or a tube bend or break...they have awesome clearance for your shins AND drifting/cornering...they are super sleek and tight to the bike and feel pretty lightwieght to everything else ive ran...what bike do you have??

 

heres some pics of the KKS cage for the 03-04 636...the best thing about this cage besides the ones i already mentioned,is that if you replace the sliders b4 they wear down,the actual cage itself DOESNT touch ground on drops...so basically your new,shiny powdercoated cage wont look like **** after a couple light drops...what other cage company can say that???NONE....

I rock a SI cage and I have no complaints. I have pancaked the bike pretty damn hard, the cage took it and protected the bike very well. If I didn't have the SI it would be a hard decision for between the SI, A-town, and impaktech. Fairly confident you would be happy with any of those 3.

 

impack tech is the way to go ant its true as long as you keep the sliders fresh when needed the cage never takes damage.

 

A-TOWN No doubt you wont be dissapointed. His cages are , and the 1 for the 636 (Especially) is real sleek with great clearance .Plus if you hurry he's got a SALE GOING RIGHT NOW !!

anyway I based my decision off of the following price, functionality, and looks

since the firtst two are pretty much the same across the board, how the cage looks on the bike would be the difference. A-town and Impatek for the 636 look very good and then the tigershark IMO

but thats how i made my decision to go with A-Town best price (tax time), people back the toughness, and it looks good on the r6!!

now all u have to do is fill in the blanks for the 636

 

just ordered impaktech cage, subcage, and round bar last night... can't wait!!!!!

Which one of these 2 have the best ground clearance & Not stick out to far.. I would like it to fit the bike kind of tight... Impack tech OR Atown custom
