man that impaktek just gave me a woody.

That cage looks so nice. I bet two delrin sliders like that would take alot outta the occasional, yet unavoidable dropage.

Re: What cage do you use & like...

The cage looks sick but im just wondering would it not be better for the frame and mounts if the cage was to take the load evenly instead of taking all the force on the sliders would that not make it easier to **** up a mount or even a frame... Im just wondering because my 636 has a custom made cage but its too small and a bit nasty lookin around the welds so i want to change it for either an impaktech kks or an a-town. Im havin a hard time deciding between the 2

no the impaktech KKS takes most of the impact to the lower slider first then its spread out into the 2 braces and then the rest of the cage and top slider....i havent even tightend my bolts on mine yet after a few nasty hits and that tells me its doing its job and keeping the impact/force AWAY from the mounts/frame.....impaktech FTW

ive got an atown on my r6 and that thing lets me still lean the **** out of it. i literally was on the edge of the tire, and the cage wasnt scraping. any more lean and i would have been out of tire.

Re: What cage do you use & like...

I've heard people talk about how impaktech is the greatest thing ever for gsxr's... but that thing looks sick on the 636... It will for sure be my next cage if the one for the 05-06 636 looks the same...

bullshit. i highsided a fast circle today and the cage hit! my sliders still look almost new was like my second drop. i like the cage ALOT but this in not a true fact
