Tried searching this but no luck. Will a F4 bottom end work on a F4i top end? Buddy just bought an F4i and it threw a rod on the way home from buying it. He got a pretty decent deal on it, the guy actually was cool and came back gave him $1g back. So he got a set up rolling chasis for $1200 that came with an SI cage, round bar, ho hey 4 piston dual setup with R6 radial MC, Protaper bars, and 600rr front end. Anyways, found some good deals on some F4 crankcases and wanted to make sure first.

Also, encase you are wondering we already tore the bike down lastnight when we got back and the head along with the jugs are good, cylinder walls looked perfect. Actually everything is good except the crank, #2 piston, #2 rod, and both halves of the crankcase.


Nevermind, I looked up the part numbers and they match.
