+3, or 4 on stock 525 chain

my sprocket is pretty haked up on my 07 gsxr 600. and im rebuilding my bike right now after my wreck. i was looking at buying a 46 or 47 tooth rear sprocket (stock is 43) my question is can i use my stock chain for +3 or +4 or is that too big? kind of a newb question but im slowly rebuilding and dont have the money to buy a whole 520 kit now and just want something to make it a little more fun. i will just be riding areound town with it

It depends on how long ur chain is now. I assume it's stock so technically how stretched it is. Where is it on the adjustment marks ? Like more toward the front, in the middle, or more toward the rear ?

I dont know for sure but i think +3 would prolly work on stock chain, or just go down one in the front instead and it'll work for sure
