Pre-Wrapped Bodywork

Over the past couple days we've been jaw jacking at the Indy Dealer show in, well Indianapolis, IN.

During our discussions we spoke with a couple of the bodywork manufacturers, most of them you know. Our discussions led us down a path I would like to know more about.

Would the stunt riders of the world, or at least the USA, be interested in PRE-Wrapped bodywork?

They would offer a variety of unique designs to choose from or enable you to submit your designs requests, then before you get the bodywork delivered it would already be wrapped and ready for you to install.

Let me know what your thoughts are, we would like your feedback.

Thanks and look forward to hear what you guys have to say.

Thanks

Re: Pre-Wrapped Bodywork

sounds like a good idea.. or the option of having it with a custom wrap when you order it. save on shipping back and forth between plastic place then to your house then to the graphic shop and back..

Re: Pre-Wrapped Bodywork

I think it would be tough for you to keep your prices competitive with a person being able to buy plastics that have been crashed on and are scuffed up for cheap and then getting them wrapped themselves. But if you could keep the prices in a good range it would be a great idea.

Re: Pre-Wrapped Bodywork

would it be OEM style plastic bodywork? I'm guessing you're talking about fiberglass aftermarket body work..?

Re: Pre-Wrapped Bodywork

ima put this out there... i'd like to see aftermarket plastics manufactures make them a little more oem quality. and mold the plastics in color, oem colors or put extra shipping time on 'custom' colors.
